Achievements include completing a 5 Year Bricklaying Apprenticeship, 9 Years in the Royal Navy as an Aircraft Engineer In the Fleet Air Arm, 30 Years as a licensed Aircraft Engineer with Various Airlines. Upon his retirement John worked for 10 years at Inverness Airport for National Car Rentals. He is a member of SHIMCA Scottish Highland & Islands Moray Chinese Association, and a member of Highland Multicultural Friends.
He is closely connected to his family and friends, bringing happiness and kindness to people around him, he loves to travel, specially to Thailand.
